This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information generated through your interaction with the Discord bot YeeBot™. By inviting or interacting with the bot, you agree to the practices described in this document.

1. Data Controller

The person responsible for the collection and processing of data is the operational developer of the bot, who carries out their activity under the trade name Yee Studios™, a brand of Revolt Group. Given that these designations represent a project brand and not a constituted legal entity, the responsibility for data protection lies directly with the individual operators of the system.

2. Collected Data

In order to provide the features of the Service properly, YeeBot™ automatically collects and stores the following strictly necessary information:

  • Platform Identifiers: Discord User numerical ID and Server numerical ID (Guild ID).
  • Server Settings: Preferences and settings defined by administrators for the operation of the bot in their community (e.g., prefixes, welcome channels, roles).
  • Dashboard Settings: Interface or configuration preferences established through the web control panel (if applicable).
  • User Progression: Data related exclusively to the leveling system (e.g., accumulated experience, current level).

3. Data NOT Collected

We take the privacy of your communications very seriously. Therefore, we explicitly and strictly state that we do NOT collect or store in databases the following information:

  • The content of text messages sent in channels.
  • Communications or voice messages in audio channels.
  • Images, videos, or files sent by Users.
  • Sensitive personal information (real names, emails, physical addresses, financial data).

Technical note: To execute commands and moderation functions, the Bot reads messages and processes them temporarily and ephemerally in the operating system's RAM. Once the command is analyzed or the corresponding filter applied, the message information is discarded immediately.

4. Purpose of Processing

The data detailed in Section 2 are collected and used purely and exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Technical operation: Allow the Bot to recognize the User and the Server to respond to commands.
  • Settings storage: Remember and apply the rules and customizations defined by each community.
  • Leveling system: Register participation to grant experience and virtual rewards within the Server.
  • Abuse prevention: Maintain technical and moderation logs to protect the Bot's infrastructure against attacks, spam, or unauthorized uses.

5. Basis for Processing

The processing of the mentioned data is legitimized in:

  • The voluntary consent manifested at the time of inviting the Bot to the Server or when interacting with it through commands.
  • The imperative technical necessity for the execution of the requested service (without retaining the server and user IDs, the Bot would lack functional utility).

6. Data Retention

The collected information will be kept on our servers as long as the Bot remains active within your Discord Server, or as long as the User keeps their level progression active.

If the Bot is removed from a Server, the information associated with it may be kept temporarily for security reasons or technical statistics, but will eventually be deleted or anonymized.

7. Data Deletion

Every User, as well as authorized administrators of a Server, has the right to request the total deletion of their data stored in our databases (Right to Erasure/Right to be Forgotten).

8. Data Security

The Data Controller implements reasonable and proportional technical and organizational security measures to protect stored data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so absolute and infallible security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Data Transfers

To provide the Service, YeeBot™ uses server infrastructure (hosting, databases) that may be located in different international jurisdictions. By using the Bot, you agree that your configuration, level, and ID data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence.

10. Changes to the Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated or modified at any time to reflect legal, technical, or Service feature changes. We recommend users and administrators to periodically review this document. Continued use of the Bot after the publication of changes will constitute acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
